Here in Colorado, winter is definitely still upon us. However, spring is coming and I certainly feel my sap beginning to rise. It finally feels like time to leave the winter cave and explore the possibilities of the seasons to come. Also, quite literally, it is time to plant seeds.
With all those yummy spring awakening vibes in mind, we have some really wonderful upcoming circles, classes, and workshops.
Wednesday Web of Life Community Circles

The Lyons Community Farm Project mission is to cultivate community in edible living classrooms that grow food and medicinal plants while regenerating soil environments, connecting communities to the local food movement, and facilitating ecosystem and culture restoration while honoring and uplifting ancestral wisdom from indigenous people.
We are so excited to launch our weekly community circles, an opportunity for community building, learning, and regeneration. During these bi-weekly circles we will explore a wide range of topics in permaculture, ecosystem restoration, cultural reparation, social permaculture, soil building, mushroom cultivation, water conservation, wildcrafting, and more.
Our team members will be facilitating these circles and additionally we will have many guest teachers and specialists throughout the year. It is important for us to create a safe place for us all to learn ways to live more harmoniously with nature. We also acknowledge that there are systemic patterns that we must actively choose to unlearn in order to do this. Therefore as we invite our community to these educational circles, we want you all to know that this is a safe place to explore together. We are coming together to learn and we encourage hard conversations that facilitate growth. This is a safe place to be “wrong”. We are moving away from polarized dialogues so that we can have conversations without fear of judgement.
So, beginning March 2nd we invite our community to join us in learning about permaculture practices, bees, and authentic community building! Our first month or two will be indoors and then we will begin meeting at the Lyons Food Forest property as the days get longer!
We ask for a sliding scale donation of $25-$15 to help support our project and our teachers as well as pay for any supplies we offer during our circles. If you are unable to pay please reach out to our coordinator, @Saoirse Watters. Our circles are bi weekly, first and third Wednesdays of each month from 5:30-8:30. This is a family friendly setting and children are welcome. To let us know you are coming, you can venmo our organizer at Ashtree-Creative. Type in the notes “Wednesday Web and the date”. Or cash/check/venmo/paypal at the door.
Our March Community Circles will be held at the address
5517 Saint Vrain Road

April location TBD! We look forward to strengthening the web of life with you!

Women’s Winter Wildcrafting Workshop Series

Winter is a time of quiet, contemplation, rest, and tending to the hearth. It’s a time to contemplate the seeds we have planted in our hearts and in the earth in seasons gone by and to wonder how to regenerate those efforts and dreams. Have they been harvested? Or are they yet unrealized. Do they need to be released, made into compost, for something new to grow? Or simply adjusted, changed.. regenerated.
In the winter season I spend a lot of time wildcrafting. It’s a good time for getting quiet and working with the inner creativity. I invite you all to come and join me for a three session workshop to take place over three months where we will explore wildcrafting skills such as candle making, basket weaving, braiding, and herb craft. We will also take time to contemplate our inner landscapes, offer council, and share in the rich joys of a women’s space.
During these workshops I will also be sharing some techniques for exploring deeper relationships with plants that I have learned. I find that nature has a way of giving us just what we need and as I have dedicated time and energy to connecting with plants in both practical and mystical ways, I have found that these relationships have nurtured joy, wisdom, and authenticity in my life.
Our meeting dates are Saturday February 5th, Sunday March 13th, and Friday April 8th. Each meeting will be around 3 hours with an option to stay afterwards to share in a potluck. Registration is $45 for individual class or $120 for all three. The course fee includes all supplies needed for our wildcrafting projects and you will go home with amazing handmade goodies and new knowledge. You can venmo Ashtree-Creative to register, please include the workshop you are attending in date in the notes section. Or to ask any questions, please email ashtree.creative@gmail.com or call/text 337-258-0875.
Looking forward to wildcrafting with you!

Medicine Songs ~ Women’s Circles for the Full Moon
with Harpiar and Saoirse
Sacred Women,
We invite you to join our Medicine Song Circles for the next six months (and maybe more!) beginning Saturday March 19th. You are welcome to come to one circle or all of them! We will always be meeting near the full moon time!Have you wanted to explore singing but have felt shy or didn’t know a safe place to do so? Have you been feeling the need to be in sacred sisterhood? Are you curious about singing medicine songs? Or are you already a song carrier and wanting a place to share in community together, sing, release, heal, and love? Well c’mon girl, what are you waiting for?
We have heard the call to share sacred songs with our sisters! Harpiar and Saoirse are both sacred song carriers ad students of the Earth. We have both, in our own ways, dedicated our lives to being of service to the Earth and to the awakening of the sacred feminine.
In these circles we will come together to be held in a sacred, safe, and inclusive ritual container. We believe in being bridge builders, and therefore these circles are bilingual! We will be going in and out of speaking Spanish and English with translation in both languages always available. It is time for us to come together as women and to SING our love, sing our pain, sing our pleasure, sing our praise! We will be teaching 3-4 new songs each month as we journey through the elements and the sacred feminine.
Each month we will follow a theme as we move into deeper balance with the sacred rhythms of the natural world and the wild, sacred feminine. Our themes are Womb, Water, Earth, Fire, Air, and Heart.
Our first circle will be limited to 10 women because of space. If we have a larger amount of women interested, we will move to another space, however we need to know in advance. So please register as soon as possible if you are able.
Our circles have a suggested donation of $25-$15. However if you are in financial need, please message Saoirse or Harpiar on facebook or email ashtree.creative@gmail.com.
To register, venmo $25-$15 to Ashtree-Creative and please write in the notes Canciones Medicinas.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us!
We are so happy to sing with you! Thank you, thank you for your sacred heart and your sacred life!
Abrazos,
Saoirse y Harpiar
