Winter is a time of quiet, contemplation, rest, and tending to the hearth. It’s a time to contemplate the seeds we have planted in our hearts and in the earth in seasons gone by and to wonder how to regenerate those efforts and dreams. Have they been harvested? Or are they yet unrealized. Do they need to be released, made into compost, for something new to grow? Or simply adjusted, changed.. regenerated.
In the winter season I spend a lot of time wildcrafting. It’s a good time for getting quiet and working with the inner creativity. I invite you all to come and join me for a three session workshop to take place over three months where we will explore wildcrafting skills such as candle making, basket weaving, braiding, and herb craft. We will also take time to contemplate our inner landscapes, offer council, and share in the rich joys of a women’s space.

During these workshops I will also be sharing some techniques for exploring deeper relationships with plants that I have learned. I find that nature has a way of giving us just what we need and as I have dedicated time and energy to connecting with plants in both practical and mystical ways, I have found that these relationships have nurtured joy, wisdom, and authenticity in my life.
This workshop series will take place predominantly indoors in Lyons, CO. Address and info will be shared upon registration. Since we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, I request that you please wear a mask and refrain from attending if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed covid.
Our meeting dates are Saturday February 5th, Saturday March 12th, and Friday April 8th. Each meeting will be around 3 hours with an option to stay afterwards to share in a potluck. Registration is $45 for individual class or $120 for all three. The course fee includes all supplies needed for our wildcrafting projects and you will go home with amazing handmade goodies and new knowledge. To register or ask any questions, please email ashtree.creative@gmail.com or call 337-258-0875.
I look forward to gathering with you!
